“Crocodilians of the World” Poster

Alligators, Crocodiles, Caiman, the Tomistoma and the Gharial.

This 18” X 24” poster features photographs of the world’s twenty-three species of crocodilians in natural settings.  It is an ideal addition for high school and university sciences or biology labs, elementary and middle school classrooms, zoological parks, museums and environmental centers. This poster is the perfect gift for anyone, expert or novice, that appreciates or is interested in studying alligators and crocodiles. It’s also great for those interested in subjects such as dinosaurs, natural history, zoology and conservation.
 

Designed by Bruce Shwedick with photographs he has taken in the course of his work as a crocodilian specialist over a period of three decades. His photographs of crocodilians and crocodilian behavior have been published in books, magazines and on websites. They have also been utilized as a part of the AZA’s Crocodilian Biology and Captive Management Course, a professional development course for zookeepers and aquarists.

Bruce Shwedick has served as an advisory member of the Crocodilian Advisory Group of the AZA (American Zoological Association) and is a working member of the Crocodile Specialist Group within the IUCN/SSC (International Union for Conservation of Nature/Species Survival Commission).

Proceeds from poster sales by Crocodile Conservation Services will provide support for the Crocodilian Conservation Center of Florida, a not for profit organization dedicated to promoting understanding and conservation of the world’s crocodilians.
